Fall 2018: New features on paceband.org
- It is now possible to order your pace band on waterproof paper and receive it at home by regular mail. You can create one or several pace bands, save them and place an order for only 3.99 USD/pace band + shipping fees. Enjoy 10% off on any order until October 15 2018 by entering the promo code FALL2018.
- Share your personalized pace band on Facebook. You just need to save it and then share it!
- Quick search added on the home page.
- paceband.org is now available in Italian. Thanks to Luciano from Italy! We are looking for volunteers to translate paceband.org to other languages, specifically Spanish, German and Japanese. Contact us!
- For some courses, www.iskio.ca offers direct links to paceband.org, like the Montreal marathon.
- Send us some comments from the new tab on the right of every page.

New recent features on paceband.org
- Course details now present an elevation chart.
- The course distance is not limited to 10 km, 20 km, half-marathon or marathon anymore.
- It is possible to create courses going from 5 km to 200 km.
- A pace band can be created, even if the course does not exist in our database yet.

Contest
In a few weeks, it will be possible to order your pace band on waterproof paper and receive it at home by regular mail. You are invited to come to discover this feature  right now since it is already in place in 'TEST' mode. You can create one or several pace bands, save them and place an order, by entering a dummy credit card number. Anyone who placed a fictious order or sent us suggestions or comments will have a chance to win a pace band delivered at home for free!

Pace band improvements
- The Pace band itself is refined whether it's in HTML or in PDF format.
- The aid stations are now easier to spot. At the moment, not all courses offer the feature. Have a look at the Quebec City Marathon for an example. Contact us if you would like us to add it to your next race course!
- A legend has been added to identify the Aid Stations (gel, sports drink, sponge...).

Aid station walking breaks
- It is now possible to plan walking breaks on every Aid Station (if they are defined).

Fix: Length of the paceband for html format is now more accurate for printing

  • Change a parameter and immediately watch the result!
  • The algorithm has been completely revised and is more accurate.
  • The Start Slow/Fast and the Finish Slow/Fast have also been improved .
  • For readability, choose the width of your pace band and the font size adjusts automatically.
  • Always for readability, display laps every 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 mile or km.
  • Now you can directly print your pace band without exporting to PDF. Do not forget to activate the option to print background images.
